Reflective Practice Group

Reflective Practice

Group

This group is facilitated by Siobhan, founder of the RVTC, who has over fourteen years of combined experience as a Psychotherapist, Integrative counsellor, Play therapist and facilitator.

The group meets monthly for 2 hours to share learning and enhance their practice.

A Reflective Practice Group provides a safe space for professionals to come together outside of their busy lives to develop themselves and their practice, encouraging growth and development.

It's suitable for professionals (Counsellors, Psychotherapists, social workers, play therapists etc) who wish to explore a variety of creative approaches to their work, we will come together as a team of professionals to support each other with challenges that arise within your practice.

Within the group, you will:

  • explore creative therapeutic options and alternative ways of moving your client through stored stressors and trauma;
  • help to feel supported in your professional roles and network with others;
  • reflect on less effective areas of your practice and tailor your approach to individual clients' needs;
  • reflect on the Therapeutic use of self within your practice, integrating knowledge and experience within your practice;
  • learn to recognise when the body is needing to rest to avoid burnout.
